Haven has now exceeded block height 741,957 and the Monero v0.16 fork ‘Artemis’ has been successfully deployed on mainnet!
The Artemis release lays the foundations for all of Haven’s future development, including integration with Thorchain and the addition of xGOLD, xSILVER, xEUR and xCNY early in 2021.
Many thanks to those in the community who took the time to support the team with testing.
v0.14 binaries are not compatible with v0.16 code. Please download the latest CLI binaries from here:
We are pleased to announce the release of the new Web Vault! This is a complete overhaul of the previous Web Vault and includes several significant upgrades, allowing users to transfer, convert and store all Haven assets through a web browser.
Important Note: It is much faster to create a new Vault, rather than restoring a Vault from seed.
A restore requires a full chain sync and scanning the complete blockchain can take ~2.5hrs. An alternative approach is to create a new Vault, which is much quicker. You can then transfer funds into this Vault, for an exchange, using the CLI Vault, or from the new Desktop Vaults when they are released.
If you do need to restore a seed, it is worth reading our Quick Start Guide: See https://havenprotocol.org/knowledge/quick-start-guide/
You can access the new Web Vault from here: https://vault.havenprotocol.org/
The current Desktop Vaults (v1.1.3 and earlier) will not work with v0.16. New MacOS and Windows Desktop Vaults are in final testing.
These Vaults will benefit from the new features found in the Web Vault and will be released as soon as possible. Keep an eye on announcements for further details.
